Description

AEROXIDE® Alu C is produced analogously to the AEROSIL®- process developed by Evonik. It is a very fine fumed metal oxide with a high specific surface area. Due to the electropositive chargeability, AEROXIDE® Alu C leads to specific properties in various applications.

In following applications AEROXIDE® Alu C shows special advantages:

  • In PET-films as an anti-blocking agent
  • In fluorescent tubes and light bulbs as an additive for a homogenous light emission, the better flowability of the fluorescent mix during the electrostatic coating
  • In powder coatings to improve chargeability
  • In coatings of high-quality ink-jet-paper to provide high gloss and excellent printing.
