Disinfectants that are quat-based have proven effectiveness against killing at least 99.9% of dangerous disease causing germs such as Norovirus, Ebola, Coronavirus, SARS, MRSA and cold and flu viruses (Source: Arxada) . These disinfectants are regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and have gone through safety assessments from other national regulatory bodies. Quats are a non-corrosive alternative to bleach and chlorine and kill more than 150 types of bacteria.
