Description
Tegopren® 6814 is a 100% active liquid organo-modified polydimethyl siloxane ideal for light, fine particle sized care emulsions. The fluid nature of this product means there is no necessity to heat to allow easy processing in comparison with using solid waxes. However, it exhibit some properties of both silicone fluids and solid waxes such as lower penetration ability into surfaces compared to silicone oils (equal viscosity) and enhanced penetration ability into surfaces compared to solid waxes. Allows improved dispersion of pigments. Leather and furniture polishes containing Tegopren® 6814 show excellent wetting ability and sufficient protection against humidity. Care properties, suppleness and gloss are given to shoe and other leather surfaces.
