Monkeypox Virus cases continue to rise throughout the world. The World Health Organization defines the Monkeypox Virus as an “orthopoxvirus that causes a disease with symptoms similar, but less severe, to smallpox”. This virus can be transmitted through contact with bodily fluids, lesions on the skin or on the internal mucosal surfaces. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated the Emerging Viral Pathogen (EVP) status for this virus.

Arxada provides various disinfectant solutions which are effective against this virus and registered in accordance with the EVP program. The solutions include RTU, wipes, and concentrates for both consumers and professional markets.
