Emersol® 120 Stearic Acid offers unmatched color stability, resistance to rancidity and excellent oxidation stability. It is the best buy for general uses which do not require the low iodine value and premium quality of Emersol® 132 NF. For certain cosmetic products, such as creams, Emersol® 120 may be preferred over triple-pressed acids because it imparts a slightly softer texture.
