Description
Lorol® C14-95 is derived from vegetable based, renewable raw material sources. It can be used as a direct adjuvant or can undergo primary alcohol reactions for the preparation of intermediates or end products. Lorol® C14-95 is particularly useful for the manufacture of fatty alcohol ether sulfates exhibiting good skin compatibility, and for the preparation of fatty acid esters used in cosmetics and lubricants. Alkyl chlorides are prepared that are intermediates in the manufacture of quaternaries.
