Description

Lorol® C8-98 is derived from vegetable based, renewable raw material sources. It can be used as a direct adjuvant or can undergo primary alcohol reactions for the preparation of intermediates or end products. Lorol® C8-98 can be effectively used for the production of low foaming alkyl sulfates, as a wetting agent with hydrotropic characteristics for electroplating baths and for the separation of fats and oils. It can be esterified to form adipic, phthalic, sebacic and fatty acid esters as well as thioglycolic esters. Additionally it is an intermediate for alkyl bromo compounds, UV-absorbers, flame retardants, Guerbet alcohols and alkyl chlorides for quaternaries. Also available in Kosher upon request.
