Hamposyl N-Acyl Sarcosinate Surfactants like Hamposyl L-30 are readily biodegradable and have been thoroughly investigated for their mildness and low toxicity. They are recognized as safe and effective surfactants and are produced from fatty acids and the amino acid sarcosine. Contributes to excellent lather and skin feel, has germicidal properties, enhances the performance of other surfactants, reduces dental decay, and more. It has an activity of 30%±1%, furthermore is unpreserved, but is available as Hamposyl L-30 K*, which is preserved with Kathon.
